Business Development Manager (IT)

    Job Summary: 

    The Business Development Manager’s primary responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying, selling and closing new business/net new customers. The BDM uses all resources to solve customer problems with the appropriate company products and services. As BDM, he/she will act as the first contact point for business executives across different industries. The BDM must have a strong background in solution selling, particularly in IT related services. This role is ideal for a highly motivated and strategic sales professional who excels in building relationships, navigating complex sales cycles, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in B2B sales, specifically in the ERP, SAP, or related IT software industry.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Marketing, Communication or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., SAP certifications) are a plus.
    • Minimum of 5 years of proven success in business development or sales, with a focus on ERP solutions, SAP, or similar enterprise software products. Experience in selling to mid-market and large enterprise clients is highly desirable.
    • Strong understanding of the ERP landscape, specifically SAP solutions, and how they benefit various industries (manufacturing, retail, finance, etc.).
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to manage a full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals.
    • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
    • Familiarity with MS Office Suite and CRM software is a plus.
    • Willingness to travel for client meetings and events as required.
    • Must be self-motivated and self-driven. A team player and competitive by nature with a strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
