Responsibilities:
1) Strategic Mandate
- Own the end-to-end supply chain strategy across sourcing, procurement, warehousing, logistics, and inventory for multi-brand, multi-format operations.
- Translate business growth plans into a scalable, resilient supply network that protects margin, service levels, and brand standards.
2) Enterprise Governance & Control
- Establish group-wide supply chain policies (procurement authority matrix, vendor governance, contract standards, risk thresholds).
- Institutionalize demand planning, S&OP, and inventory governance across 50 profit centers.
- Lead audit readiness for procurement compliance, food safety traceability, and cost controls.
3) Commercial & Cost Leadership
- Drive strategic sourcing and category management for food, beverage, packaging, equipment, and services.
- Deliver enterprise savings through consolidation, should-costing, renegotiation, and long-term supplier partnerships.
- Own inflation mitigation and margin protection strategies (hedging approaches, alternate sourcing, spec optimization).
4) Network & Operations Excellence
- Design and optimize the distribution and warehousing footprint (central warehouse, commissary, cross-docks, last-mile).
- Set service level standards for on-time-in-full (OTIF), fill rates, and shrink control across all brands and locations.
- Lead crisis and disruption management (supply shocks, recalls, port delays, weather events).
5) Digital & Systems Leadership
- Champion supply chain digitization:
- ERP / procurement suite
- WMS / TMS
- Demand forecasting & inventory analytics
- Build a single source of truth for spend, suppliers, and stock across 50 profit centers.
- Enable real-time dashboards for executives: cost-to-serve, stock health, and service risk.
6) Food Safety, Quality & ESG
- Ensure end-to-end traceability and compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, regulatory).
- Lead supplier QA programs and recall readiness.
- Integrate sustainability objectives (responsible sourcing, waste reduction, packaging footprint).
7) Enterprise Stakeholder Leadership
Strategic partner to:
- CEO / COO – growth readiness, risk posture
- CFO – cost governance, working capital
- HR – workforce planning for logistics & procurement
- Brand Heads – menu innovation feasibility, speed to market
- Lead cross-functional S&OP and IBP forums.
8) Organization & Capability Builder
- Build a future-ready supply chain organization:
- Center of Excellence (Strategic Sourcing, Planning, Analytics)
- Strong field execution teams (warehouse, logistics, inventory control)
- Develop succession-ready leaders for Procurement, Planning, and Logistics.
- Reduce dependency on ad-hoc external vendors through internal capability maturity.
