Job Summary:
Responsible for developing and growing sales and market share for the company’s plasterboard, plaster, metal frame, accessories and other related products including its drywall and ceiling systems/solutions to construction projects in the following key construction market sectors – Hotel, Residential, Commercial, Institutional, Education and Healthcare – by influencing key decision makers such as general contractors, sub-contractors, and installers to approve and use Gyproc and FICEM products and systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in any technical field; preferably Civil Engineering or Architecture.
- At least 2-3 years in a technical sales role, with a manufacturing company in a B2B environment involving products related to building or construction.
- With selling experience in architectural construction materials; knowledge of the building industry and how building projects work and how building sites operate.
- Excellent ability to qualify potential customers and building projects.
- Independent, self-motivated, positive attitude and enthusiastic; ability to work under pressure.
- Microsoft Office proficiency and strong ability to adapt to digital sales/CRM applications.
- Excellent research habits to build knowledge base – customers, competition, products, market needs, etc.
- Customer focus – ability to seek and understand customer needs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; excellent listener.
- Strong presentation skills and professional appearance.
- Ability to probe for details, handle objections and close deals.
- Ability to trigger emotional buying behavior.
- Ability to gain customer’s trust and build long term relationships.
- Strong network creation and referral maximization.
- Must be willing to work onsite in Pasig City.
