Senior Finance Manager

    Responsibilities:

    • Plans, directs and manages work programs to ensure timely delivery of financial information that complies with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), as required.
    • Evaluates and suggests system improvements to enhance lead time in the delivery of credible financial reports.
    • Ensures timely submission of regular financial statement package and other management reporting requirements.
    • Submits quarterly and annual financial reports to regulatory agencies such as BIR, SEC; Facilitates annual and special audits conducted by external auditors.
    • Ensures proper maintenance of the Xero System and accountability for monetary assets on a regular basis by reviewing and analyzing the General Ledger balances.
    • Manages the day-to day activities of the group towards achievement of overall goals and objectives
    • Ensures accurate and timely filing of quarterly and annual income tax returns, VAT, withholding on compensation and expanded withholding tax, to the Bureau of Internal Revenue.
    • Trains and develops staff thru regular communication meetings, in-house and on-the-job training, coaching and counseling, and other developmental activities to improve skills, motivate and promote teamwork.
    • Reviews/supervises the work of subordinates, develops/trains and motivates staff and evaluates their performance.
    • Creates a work environment and teamwork that is conducive to the pursuit of work excellence by providing the department with performance goals and directions and allowing the staff to internalize such things in the daily accomplishment of their tasks, recognition and reward of excellent performance and consistent emphasis on continuous improvement.
    • Observes established safety and health standard procedures / regulations in carrying out duties and responsibilities.
    • Performs other job-related duties that may be assigned by superior from time to time.

     

    Qualifications:

    • BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA preferred.
    • With 7 to 10 years’ experience, 5 years in managerial position.
    • Must have relevant people handling and management experience.
    • Coordinates with various divisions/departments/sections within the Company and external contacts.
    • Decides on proper accounting treatment of routine transactions and posting adjustments in Xero Accounting System within his/her authority limit.
    • Must be willing to work onsite in San Juan City.
